Was walking along Joo Chiat Road,when I saw Tembeling Road, it flashed in mind there is very popular wanton noodles along here.I took the road in search .I found the place after some walk nothing much, a old shop house with a coffee shop .There were a quite a number of people there.Guess what,they all having or waiting for their wanton noodles.
Carrot Cake with ikan bilis is it a joke,No it is for real, carrot cake comes with fried ikan bilis on top.The only place or stall I have across that sells this kind of carrot cake.
Cheap,Good and Worth
I have 3 friends who like to organize makan outing but with huge gap around more a year.And one of them will only can be tempted with cheap buffet.I told about this restaurant, that is having a cheap buffet.Within 3 day we were at this place small restaurant in HBD estate.
The first dish to come was seafood roll.this tasted like the one you get from a wet market.A real disappointment.Well we were prepared for the worst now.
Noticed this shop with a sign "Supreme Pork Chop Rice" couple of times at just at the end of Middle Road leading to Beach Road.With a sign like that, I have see the what is the supreme pork chop.
I had a bad experience once at this place some months back.When I order rice ball when was served normal chicken rice,told them they back brought back a with black and white rice ball which was the same rice that was served before made into balls.The chicken was served with bits of rice attached all over was the chicken which was served with rice before...picture above
