My last visit to this place was some 5 years back.I had a good impression of the expensive food but not the service.So now after 5 years.....

We(3 of us)went there for lunch.They were having 1 for 1 lunch buffet promotion.$40.00.
We decided to go with the buffet.

Express.....Kopitiam...

Aston Express...They are suppose to be cheap good western food with some high quality taste to give the  local heartlands stalls  a run for the money.Have visited a number of Astons' Specialties and Express.
And this Express stall more often than any other Astons.(I work nearby.)

Yes! sounds crazy,maybe they have a screw loose.Here you eat as much as you want,and pay what you want to pay.Sounds too good to be true but it is the truth.

Once they had,one of most....maybe the most posh,expensive,high end ,classy,Indian vegetarian restaurant,in Singapore,in Excelsior Hotel.

To Taste The True Orginal Tiong Bahru Lor Mee.

Decades back in Tiong Bahru market hawker centre. A never ending stream of queue can be spotted.And  this stall commands the queue anytime of the day,till they close.I have eaten this Tiong Bahru Lor Mee couple of times,decades back,in Tiong Bahru market hawker centre.

 Yes,this is the original Lor Mee stall that commanded the queue in Tiong Bahru.I still recognize the people from the stall.

At Riverside Point....

The last time we went,we could not get inside seat.This time around they showed us a round table which had about 6 people already seated.The whether was cloudy,not hot as the  last time we came,so we opted to seat outside.

Homemade Beancurd.$12.00.This is buddy's favourite,every time he see this in the menu,he will surely order.It was soft,too eggy for my liking and too much starch in the sauce.But still quite nice enough.

When I told my friends I just had Duman Road wanton mee,they straight away presume,it was the other one in basement .They did not even realise there is another wanton mee stall,in the food centre.

Less known,than their counter part at basement .This stall commands, their own faithful followers.
