Yes, here they,refry the chicken,when you make an order ...they chop the already cooked whole fried chicken, refry and serve.

This is a branch from the well known stall,from Bukit Timah Food Centre.Also named "Chwee Kway."

Sarawak Kolo Mee ....Jalan Besar

I last had Sarawak Kolo Mee....maybe...was quite a long back...along Upper Thomson Rd.Really I could not recall how it tasted.All I remember, it tasted something like wanton mee...

Have passed by this place on quite a number of occasions.Always though this was another North Indian restaurant,with high price ala carte menu.
One occasion the door was open saw people queuing at what looked like a display counter.What else went in to see ....

Yes,it was a food display counter,there was no ala carte menu.You have order the food at the counter,self service,take the food to the table yourself.There were no price tags or signs.

It's a very neat,clean place,quite spacious .This was a lunch visit went early,the crowd came a bit later....

 All the dishes were served on a sliver platter.

Hougang Jing Jia Mutton Soup

The rain was pouring,I was having Dong Li char kway teow this stall just opposite was just pulling me to it.With the fragrance of the soup just pushing through my nose,with the cold whether to it's advantage,I had no choice.

This is a very  popular restaurant in the North.Went there a few times in the evening but the queue was so long,we gave up waiting.Found out it was open for lunch .What esle, went with buddy for lunch.
This restaurant was once located  in Sembawang Shopping Centre.The shopping centre went under renovation,they moved from there.

 Saw a number of people eating some western food which looked quite different.A little search found the stall......

 Ordered pork chops.$5.00.What catches the eyes was the sauce.
