This stall calims to be the first to have started ,this way of serving char kway teow with blanched chye sim on top of the kway teow. And with a lot of it.
The kway teow was fried almost dry, infact too dry for my liking on this day.Almost like Indian mee goreng dry.The chye sim was semi cooked, quite a lot.The cockles were few and the kway teow portion was quite little. There were no sausages or fish cake,no lard. There were chye poh in the kway but for me it did not do much to the dish.
The only other place I have tried this type of char kway teow with blanched chye sim on top was at Golden mile link.Which was much wetter version which I loved though there were no lard.
Prices starts from $3.00.Mine was $4.00.(Quite a small portion)
Overall if you are looking for a much healthier (there was almost no traces of oil),with lot of veges, chye sim you might like this.
