Bukit Purmei Lor Mee

Bukit Purmei Lor Mee

It's been some time I last went there  click here .They were closed for some time and now they opened or are they,.

The signs have changed and price range has changed.

And colour of the lor mee has changed. The brownish reddish unique colour texture of the famous Bukit Purmei is not here.

I had the Signature lor mee $5.00.It had wantons, braished pork belly,Ngoh higang ,fish and the crispy bits.

Taste was certainly different from my 2 previous visits there .The unique oomph  taste that made me go wow,.is not the same. The crispy bits were just very little like 2 or 3 pieces.

This lor mee did not taste like the famous Bukit Purmei lor mee

If you are thinking of old Bukit Purmei taste you might be disappointed.
Not sure if they are the same people.But...But

If just gonna try lor mee than, this is was ...above average lor mee.
The thick gooney sauce had full flavour of the stock which was tasty.

This lor mee tasted almost exactly like one I have eaten at Maxwell Road Food centre.Just few days back.
Sorry not in my blog yet.

  1. Nope. It's not the same person. Original stall ceased operation. Uncle has health issue. They did not relocate or franchise either.
